Lord Gregory (KWPN) is an NRPS champion, AES, WBSUK and SHB GB licensed stallion , (based in the UK), sired by the International Dressage stallion George Clooney, out of the Elite Prok mare Hortensia V. Homebred and produced by Van Olst Horses, Gregory is set for a bright future in the FEI ring.

Standing at 16.3hh, he is a well built, uphill stallion that will suit many mares. With legendary ancestors, including Lord Leatherdale, Negro, Ferro, Sandro Hit, De Niro and Donnerhall, Lord Gregory showcases powerful paces, with strength, elasticity and balance. He was champion at the 2020 NRPS stallion licensing, scoring 9s on average across the board, and 9.5 for his canter. He scored a total mark of 8.45 for his AES stallion licensing, being the highest marked stallion for the late 2021/ 2022 gradings. Lord Gregory has everything for a successful future in Dressage.

The NRPS described him as a stallion with “natural self carriage” and “a lot of quality, especially in canter” that’s “spacious with suppleness and a very good use of the hind leg.” His walk was said to be “pure and has good scope and regularity”. His trot has “good impulsion and scope”.

Lord Gregory’s sire George Clooney is a world class stallion, placing in the top 10 for the KWPN Stallion Competition and PAVO Cup Finals. He has successfully competed at PSG/Int 1 and has been trained up to Grand Prix by Olympian Severo Jurado Lopez. His sire De Niro was the World Number One Dressage Grand Prix horse producer, and sired over 86 licensed sons. De Niro had a phenomenal career both in competition at Grand Prix level, and in breeding. Lord Gregory’s dam line boasts many exceptional horses, his dam Hortensia V is an Elite graded KWPN mare, and also holds the IBOP and PROK predicates. Her sire Lord Leatherdale needs no introduction, having produced the world renowned Van Olst stallions Glamourdale, the current World Champion and Everdale the Silver Team Medallist at the European Championships, to name just a few. Hortensia’s dam sire is the famous Negro, the foundation Dressage stallion of Van Olst and producer of countless outstanding Dressage offspring, including the legendary Valegro and Kjento, the current seven year old world champion at the Dressage World Breeding Championships.
